Terms & Conditions of Hire

 

1.      Verbal/email reservations will be held for 5 working days

2.      A 25% deposit and a completed booking form will secure your reservation and a confirmation of deposit receipt will be sent within seven days.

3.      The balance of the booking fee together is due no later than eight weeks before the start of the holiday. We will send you a reminder of the balance due ten weeks before the holiday start date.

4.      If the villa is booked last minute then the whole booking fee will be due immediately.

5.      The deposit is non-refundable if the remaining balance is not paid within eight weeks of the start of holiday or if you cancel the holiday.

The following cancellation charges will be incurred

If we are able to successfully re-let the villa for the entire duration of your cancelled booking, we will refund your money less the deposit.

6.      The maximum number of occupants as detailed on the booking form must not be exceeded. The property managers reserve the right to ask any guests to leave, if their name is not on the booking form.

7.      Please- no stag or hen nights. (We suggest that Puerto del Carmen would be more suitable!)

8.      Please remember that Shangrila Park is a quiet residential complex with some of the villas permanent homes, so we ask that you are considerate to our neighbours. Our property managers reserve the right to ask any guests that misbehave to leave.

9.      We are not a business and the villa and its contents are our own personal possessions, so we ask that you respect our holiday home.

10.   Please inform us/our property managers of any breakages/damages so these can be replaced/repaired for the next guests. Whilst we understand that accidents may happen, guests will be responsible for any replacement/repair costs.

11.   Our property managers live on the complex.  They are close to hand and are available to help you.  Their contact mobile telephone numbers are also included in the welcome notes.

12.   We ask that you do not smoke inside the villa.  Ashtrays are provided for your use on the outdoor terraces.

13.   You are welcome to use the equipment in the villa including any beach equipment in the utility room. Please use your own towels for swimming.

14.   As guests of ours, you are entitled to use the communal swimming pool but we are not responsible for the pool, so you do so at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty, so please take special care and do not leave children unattended. 

15.   You choose to use any of our possessions at your own risk. You agree to indemnify us against any claim for injury, loss or damage, however caused.  You agree that we the owners do not accept any responsibility for injury to guests or third parties or loss/damage to their belongings

16.   Please ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover holiday cancellation, accident or injury and loss or damage to your personal property whilst on our premises.
